BearPaw was started to fix what homeowners kept telling us about contractors: no schedule, no numbers, no one on site.
BearPaw LLC is a San Diego general building contractor working across the county. We build whole-home renovations, second-story additions, detached ADUs, and rental repositioning work, from the coast to inland San Diego.
Every project gets a named superintendent who is on site daily, a line-item budget before demolition, and a schedule the owner signs off on. Owners get progress photos every week, and our clients get secure access to the project's real financials — not a one-page summary.
We keep our trades small and consistent. The same framers, electricians, and finish carpenters have worked with us for years, which is why our schedules hold and our punch lists stay short.
We stay in code and permit work in house. Plan check, inspections, coastal and historic review, and final sign-off are handled by our team, and every job closes out with a warranty package and as-built notes.
